[WATCH] James Harden fakes nosebleed after dunk

James Harden

James Harden of the Houston Rockets got so high for a dunk that his nose bled.

Harden ran a one-on-none fast break in their game against the Washington Wizards. After dunking the ball, it appeared as if something was wrong.

Yet as is turned out, it was just one of those nosebleeding celebrations that Harden does from time to time. Even his teammates thought something was wrong.

Apart from his stir-the-pot celebration, Harden has also been doing this nosebleeding thing for a quite some time now. Some of these clips may be hard to find. Probably because only a few are aware that this is a legitimate celebration.

But here’s a clip below from a few weeks ago:

On the season, Harden is averaging 30.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game. The league MVP is shooting 42.6 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from beyond the arc and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.

They are facing the Wizards tonight and are looking to snap their two-game skid. The Rockets have a 9-9 record thus far and have won six of their last 10 games. The Wizards, meanwhile, are looking to start a winning streak. Both teams have been struggling early on and are looking to turn things around.
