Warriors fan victimized by unruly Rockets fan in Game 7

warriors

The Golden State Warriors eliminated the Houston Rockets in Game 7, and three seemed to be a lot of questionable calls throughout the game that made the Rockets’ fans very upset.

It appears that the home fans aren’t taking the loss very well, and according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, a Warriors fan that was wearing a Draymond Green jersey was hit in the side of the head with a beer.

Who knows if there was something said before this that enticed the Rockets fan to throw the beer at the Warriors fan, but even if there was, this is a really bad look for the Rockets and their fans.

Even if there were some questionable calls that didn’t go their way, they still had plenty of opportunities throughout the game to grow their lead, or come back when they got down, but they couldn’t.

All season, the Rockets have lived and died by the 3-pointer, and tonight, it killed their season.

The Rockets shot 7-of-44 from deep for a whopping 15.9 percent. Compare that to the Warriors who shot 16-of-39 from downtown which is 41 percent.

Harden struggled all series with the three and it was no different in Game 7, going 2-of-13 from deep. Eric Gordon took 12 attempts and he also could only get two of them to fall.

Stephen Curry led the way from deep for the Warriors hitting seven of the 15 shots he attempted from downtown. The Warriors will now move on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.
