Video: Warriors star Klay Thompson blocks Clint Capela at the top
The Houston Rockets blew out the Golden State Warriors at home Thursday by a final score of 107-86. The Warriors were putrid on both ends of the floor, but shooting guard Klay Thompson made one stellar play in the second quarter that was a sight to see.
Rockets center Clint Capela was rolling to the rim and was cleared for takeoff. Klay Thompson, however, had other ideas and rejected Capela at the rim.

Klay Thompson has surprisingly never made an All-Defensive team. He’s one of the better defenders at the shooting guard position and, as you can see, isn’t afraid to challenge the big men in this game at the basket.
Unfortunately, this was the only highlight of the night for Golden State. The Rockets were scoring at ease all game and the Warriors never showed any resistance. Golden State is now 12-4 on the season, while Houston improved to 7-7.
Klay Thompson finished with just 10 points in 29 minutes of action while shooting 5-of-16 from the field and 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. The 86 points are a season-low for the defending champions. Klay Thompson’s block was pretty much the only thing that was worth mentioning for the Warriors, who have lost two out of their last three games.
