Video: Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden get together in Blackout Sessions pick-up game

With only weeks prior to the start of training camp, some of the NBA’s brightest stars came together in one of pro basketball’s hotbeds, Life Time Athletic at Sky (Manhattan), where they went on one of the most entertaining pick-ups of the summer.

The usual suspects like Carmelo Anthony, Enes Kanter and Lance Thomas were there, joined shortly by the Houston Rockets backcourt of Chris Paul and James Harden, along with MVP Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook played on his now-usual short-shorts, dishing the rock the same way he did last season.

But of course, it wouldn’t be Westbrook without some of his patented coast-to-coast action, blurring past plenty a star in this high-intensity game.

Even JaVale McGee is getting his Sultan of Swat with this massive rejection on The Manimal Kenneth Faried.

Hoodie or no-hoodie, Melo has been on fire this offseason, knocking down trey after trey paired next to fellow Jordan Brand mate Paul.

Other New York Knicks member made a stop at the gym, including new signing Tim Hardaway Jr. (who is reportedly looking good on these runs) Joakim Noah, along with former Knick David Lee.
