Video: Rockets’ James Harden hits 3 over Sixers’ T. J. McConnell, gestures he’s too little

 T. J. McConnell, James Harden

After hitting a 3-pointer over Philadelphia 76ers guard T. J. McConnell from the top of the key, Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden signaled that McConnell is too little to guard him.

James Harden, who stands at 6-foot-5, can easily shoot over T. J. McConnell, who is listed at 6-foot-2.

Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook has his Rock-A-Baby celebration when scores on smaller guards in the post, and now James Harden has this celebration. We’ll have to wait and see what Harden calls his celebration, but either way, it’s great.

Sixers small forward Jimmy Butler isn’t playing against the Rockets on Monday due to a wrist injury, so Philly has been forced to stick multiple players on James Harden in this contest. T. J. McConnell is a feisty defender and won’t back down from Harden, but he is clearly overmatched when trying to stick The Beard.

James Harden, the reigning MVP, is currently on a scoring tear that rivals something you would see in a video game. The six-time All-Star leads the NBA in scoring and he’s averaging a staggering 43.5 points over his last 14 games. It’s truly been a phenomenal run for Harden and it’s something we might see for a long time.
