James-Harden-Rockets

Houston Rockets superstar James Harden had another offensive outburst as he dropped 59 points to lead his team to a 159-158 win against the Washington Wizards.

Check out some of The Beard’s highlights below.

The former NBA MVP torched the Wizards, as he shot 18-32 from the field (56 percent). He also knocked down six of his 14 3-pointers and 17 of his 18 free throws. Moreover, Harden had nine assists in the game.

Westbrook put up a triple-double for the Rockets with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.

The Rockets improved to 3-1 for the season, with Harden averaging 36.8 points and 8.8 assists.

The Wizards, who fell to 1-3 for the season, was led by All-Star guard Bradley Beal, who scored 46 points in the loss. Rui Hachimura added 23 points and five boards, while Isaiah Thomas had 17 points and 10 assists off the bench.

Harden believes that he should’ve won last season’s MVP award, so he’s out to prove himself once again. He’s one of the most unstoppable scorers in the league, and now that he has a legit superstar teammate in Russell Westbrook, he’s now gunning for a championship.
