James Harden and the Houston Rockets had it going on on Friday night, as they cruised to a 120-96 victory against a hapless New York Knicks side. The reigning MVP dished out what was arguably the assist of the evening as he found teammate Clint Capela streaking down the lane with a between the legs assist.

This flamboyant play happened minutes into the first quarter of the game, and Harden was able to set the tone early with this awesome dime.
By his extremely high standards, Harden had a pretty average night in this one, accounting for 26 points (on 8-of-21 shooting), five three-pointers, eight rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and a block. It only took him 29 minutes to pull this off, as this game was already decided early on.
Knicks wing Mario Hezonja notably put up a Harden-like line for New York, logging a 16-point, 16-rebound, 11-assist triple-double.
This victory lifts the Rockets to 52-28, as they now hold a game and a half advantage against the Portland Trail Blazers for the third seed in the West. Damian Lillard and company suffered a defeat against the Denver Nuggets on Friday, which further boosted Houston’s chances of achieving a top 3 finish in a ruthless Western Conference.
As it stands, the Rockets will be facing the sixth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. It is a tight race for the final three spots in the West, though, so Houston may also be matched up against either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs, with just one win separating all three teams.
