VIDEO: Rockets’ Eric Gordon throws down ridiculous tomahawk dunk over Grizzlies’ Jonas Valanciunas

Shots are not falling from downtown for Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon to start the season, so he decided to vent his ire on Memphis Grizzlies big man Jonas Valanciunas.

The Rockets’ 30-year-old sniper dished out quite the highlight in the team’s away game versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

Around the eight-minute mark of the fourth quarter, Gordon surveyed the defense as he brought the ball down from center court.

Seeing a gap in the middle, Gordon blew by his initial defender with a hesitation dribble and went high for a filthy tomahawk jam right over the top of the towering Grizzlies center.

Gordon has been struggling big time in the Rockets’ first six games of the season. He’s only averaging 9.3 points in 30 minutes, shooting 27.4 percent from the field and 21.6 percent from beyond the arc.
