Video: Rockets’ Chris Paul threads needle with bounce pass to Gerald Green
The Houston Rockets are facing off against the Golden State Warriors without MVP candidate James Harden. They’ve jumped out to an early lead though, and it’s moments like this that serve to remind everyone that Chris Paul is one of the greatest point guards to ever step on the court.

*Uncle Drew voice* That’s a pocket pass!
Chris Paul has missed a lot of time this season, appearing in just 35 games before the Warriors matchup. With the injuries and age, many people tend to forget just how good he is. His last few games have been giving everyone a reminder. though.
He’s been one assist shy of a triple-double twice in the last four games prior to Saturday night and has scored at least 16 points in all four of those contests.
This entry pass is a perfect example of just how talented a playmaker Paul is. He’s one of the greatest of all-time when it comes to passing vision, IQ, and precision. He showed all three on this play.
Chris Paul has never been to an NBA Finals in his career — something pundits say holds him back. It’s tough to get past this loaded Golden State team, but if they can do so without Harden, it would serve as a prime example that it can be done. Maybe this is the year CP3 gets to the top of the NBA mountain?
If the Rockets want to beat the Warriors without James Harden, they’ll need big games from some other players. Chris Paul having a vintage Chris Paul game could be just the thing to spur them to a win.
