Video: Lonzo Ball locks down James Harden, emphatically blocks him

The Los Angles Lakers recorded their biggest win of the 2017-18 NBA season with an impressive 122-116 victory over the high-powered Houston Rockets. Leading the way for the Lakers was the strong play of their rookies in point guard Lonzo Ball and power forward Kyle Kuzma.

Although the offensive onslaught of Kuzma largely stole the show, Ball had an amazing defensive sequence during the third quarter against Rockets superstar shooting guard James Harden that ended with a monster block via Dime on UPROXX:

Ball managed to capitalize on that highlight play by finishing with 16 points, nine rebounds, and four assists to go with two blocks and a steal. However, that would be one of the few highlights that the Lakers would have on Harden as “The Beard” finished with a spectacular 51 points on an efficient 15-of-27 shooting while dishing out nine assists as well.

Fortunately, Los Angeles managed to avoid a comeback by Houston to get their 11th win of the season. Furthermore, they managed to finally put an end to the Rockets’ red-hot 14-game win streak

Ball has received scathing criticism all year due to his early shooting woes. However, he has managed to play surprisingly well on the defensive end, as well as the glass.
