Video: James Harden strips ball off DeMar DeRozan without looking

DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, Spurs, Rockets

Houston Rockets star James Harden has captivated NBA audiences over the years with his impressive offensive skills.

However, in Friday night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, he decided to showcase his defensive abilities in the most nonchalant way ever.

The reigning NBA MVP found himself on the receiving end of a nice little bump from Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan, so Harden decided to respond by swiping the ball.

But since it’s James Harden, he had to do it in awesome fashion by not even looking as he went for the swipe:

The look on Harden’s face says it all, and DeRozan’s glide to the rim following the swipe seemed less than enthusiastic.

But perhaps that was due to the eventual margin of victory, as the Rockets raced past the Spurs for a 136-105 win in San Antonio.

James Harden contributed 23 points and 10 assists, while Clint Capela led the way with 27 points and 12 rebounds.

DeRozan had a somewhat tough shooting night from the floor in going 5-of-13, but he made up for it at the free-throw line by going 8-of-10 to finish the game with 18 points.

Houston moved to 10-11 on the season, while San Antonio dropped its second straight game to sit at 10-12 overall.
