Video: James Harden shouts out Rockets teammates after win over Warriors

James Harden was playing on a whole different level Thursday night in carrying the Houston Rockets to a cardiac finish in overtime against the Golden State Warriors.

The reigning Most Valuable Player was all over the floor for Houston, tallying 44 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists, capped off by a step-back 3-pointer in front of Kevin Durant to send the game to an extra session and a cold-blooded game-winner with one second remaining.

It’s easy to say that James Harden is a one-man wrecking crew, but the superstar guard may beg to differ. On his way to the dugout, Harden sent shout-outs to his injured teammates — Chris Paul and Eric Gordon — and also to the rest of the Rockets players for a complete team effort.

The game is already over and Harden is still handing out assists. How about that?

After a slow start and setbacks caused by injuries to its top players, the Rockets are back in the hunt for a higher seed all because of James Harden’s play. This is nowhere near the team that lost games left and right in November and they’ll only become more dangerous once Paul and Gordon return.

Harden is taking the league by storm once again and has set himself up for a strong run at another MVP trophy.
