Video: James Harden, Joel Embiid exchange heated words during Rockets-Sixers game
Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid got into the head of another fellow superstar on Monday night.
After engaging in a heated tussle with Russell Westbrook on Saturday, Embiid exchanged words with James Harden during their match against the Houston Rockets in Philadelphia. Harden went down after hitting Embiid, who was trying to double-team the Rockets superstar in the second quarter of the match.
Embiid continued walking in front of Harden, which did not sit well with the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player. Harden was seen pushing and exchanging heated words with Embiid. Cooler heads prevailed, as the referees called a double technical foul on the two players.

Embiid had the last laugh, as he led the 76ers to a convincing 121-93 win over the Rockets. The 24-year-old center finished with 32 points on 9-for-16 shooting from the field and grabbed 14 rebounds. He also tallied three blocks, two steals, and two assists for Philadelphia.
JJ Redick finished with 16 points, while Corey Brewer contributed 11 points. Wilson Chandler scored just nine points, but he added 14 boards and three dimes. Landry Shamet and TJ McConnell provided a huge lift off the bench with 18 and 12 points, respectively, stepping up in the absence of starting guard Jimmy Butler.
Harden finished with 37 points and six boards. While it went unnoticed after losing to the 76ers, the superstar guard made history on Sunday night. According to ESPN, the 29-year-old superstar became only the second player after Wilt Chamberlain to score at least 30 points in 20 consecutive games.
Houston shot just 36 percent from the field, including a measly 11-for-42 clip from beyond the arc. The Rockets, whose record went down to 26-19, was also badly outrebounded, 55-38, by Philadelphia.
