Video: Enes Kanter still thinks Thunder can beat Rockets, Warriors
After a drama-filled offseason, the New York Knicks eventually traded Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter and Doug McDermott. In Anthony’s first return to New York since the trade, the Knicks dominated the Thunder 111-96 led by Michael Beasley’s 30 points.
Despite establishing a big three of their own with Anthony, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook, the Thunder are currently 14-15, which is the eighth-best record in the Western Conference. However, Kanter believes his former team can still beat the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets according to Fred Katz of Norman Transcript:

While most expected it would take time for the three All-Stars to build chemistry, there are already concerns as the midpoint of the season approaches. Much of the discussion has naturally been about Westbrook’s efficiency as he is shooting 38.8 percent from the field, 30.9 percent from the three-point line, and 70.0 percent from the free-throw line.
As of right now, the Rockets and Warriors are the top-two teams in the Western Conference. While there is no denying the Thunder have the talent, a lot will have to go their way in order for them to be legitimate contenders.
