Video: Clint Capela dunks on DeMarcus Cousins, disrespects him after
This season, the Houston Rockets have showcased their high-octane offense night in and night out, which is fueled by their ability to knock down a lot of 3-pointers. This has allowed some of their players to have more room to operate near the basket, such as Clint Capela, who has emerged this year as one of the better big men in the league.
The 23-year-old Swiss international has taken advantage of the rare times his teammates drive to the rim, and thrown lob passes to him, which he has converted into alley-oop dunks. He did just that on Monday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, as he threw down a vicious one on DeMarcus Cousins, and even disrespected him after by almost riding his back.

Capela finished with a team-high 28 points, to go along with eight rebounds and five blocked shots. More importantly, he helped the Rockets pull off a come-from-behind victory against the Pelicans, 130-123, and improved on their league-best record of 21-4.
If Capela will continue his impressive play as the season progresses, he could be in line for a career-year, and even be in the conversation for the Most Improved Player Award. However, what’s certain is that he has his team’s best interest in mind first, and wants to win the title more than anything else.
