Video: Chris Paul, James Harden compete in impromptu postgame half court shootout

James Harden, Chris Paul

The Houston Rockets had some fun following their win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Instead of leaving Staples Center immediately after they dressed up, some of them returned to the court, namely Chris Paul and James Harden.

The two star guards even made a bet of $200 for whoever can drain a half-court shot first. They were surrounded by some of their friends and supporters, who cheered them on and enjoyed it as much as the Rockets duo. Paul ultimately won the wager, as Harden missed the tying shot that hit the rim, that had a chance to go in as well.

The Rockets have a lot to celebrate these days, as they currently lead the Western Conference with an 18-4 record. They are also back to full strength, with Chris Paul returning to action late last month, showing that he can co-exist with Harden and that he has already adjusted to the team’s style of play.
