Video: Andre Roberson’s game-saving block against James Harden

Despite their much talked about struggles to start the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder have turned things around lately, and have now won five consecutive games, following their victory on Monday versus the Houston Rockets.

With the home team only leading by three points and the Rockets with possession, Andre Roberson played the role of hero for the Thunder, as he made a crucial block on James Harden’s potentially game-tying 3-point attempt. He then scored on a layup on the opposite end of the floor to cap off an incredible sequence.

Known to be one of the better defensive swingmen in the league today, Andre Roberson has the ability to lock down both the shooting guard and small forward positions. He was named to the All-NBA Second Team last season, and is proving that he deserves that honor.

The win helped improve the Thunder’s record to 18-15, and extended their season-high winning streak further. The Rockets on the other hand lost for only the seventh time in 32 games so far this season, and have dropped to second place in the Western Conference. They will look to get back to their winning ways on Thursday against the Boston Celtics, and snap their three-game losing streak.
