Victor Oladipo’s emotional statement for Indiana after trade to Rockets

Victor Oladipo Pacers

This isn’t the first time that Victor Oladipo has been traded since becoming a NBA player. But the former Indiana Pacers star and current Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo really took the next step in his professional career upon arriving in Indianapolis a few seasons ago. Now a member of the Rockets after most recently being traded from Indiana to Houston, Oladipo was quick to put out quite the emotional statement directed at the Pacers and the team’s fan base as he makes his way to his next franchise.

Oladipo was ultimately traded to the Rockets in exchange for former Brooklyn Nets guard Caris LeVert, who was initially traded from the Eastern Conference franchise to Houston. LeVert was part of the package that saw superstar guard James Harden get traded from the Rockets to the Nets while the Rockets then continued wheeling and dealing en route to acquiring Oladipo from the Pacers. The Rockets managed to acquire a slew of future NBA Draft picks in addition to some serious talent in terms of players that can help the franchise at the present moment as well.

Leading to his arrival in Indiana back in June 2017, Oladipo was traded to the Pacers from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for current Los Angeles Clippers All-Star forward Paul George. Although finding success with the Pacers, Oladipo’s time in Indiana seemed limited since the end of last season as the NBA rumor mill continued to churn with his name right in the thick of all of the speculation.
