Steve Kerr says losing Andre Iguodala ‘changed everything’

Andre Iguodala

The Western Conference Finals will see a Game 7 tomorrow night in Houston with the Warriors and Rockets.

The series may not have gotten there if not for a big moment when Andre Iguodala suffered an injury that would keep him out of the last three games.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr certainly feels this way as he had this to say on the topic:

If Iguodala’s value wasn’t appreciated before, it sure is now. The Swiss Army knife on defense was as crucial as ever in this series that has been defined by switches and taking advantage of mismatches. Without Iguodala, the Warriors are down one more man that can make life difficult for the potent Rockets offense.

Kerr called Iguodala doubtful for Game 7 but he is officially listed as questionable. The Warriors sure hope he can play to gain an advantage while they may get another break if Chris Paul remains out due to his hamstring injury.
