Skip Bayless gets fooled by fake tweet about Rockets’ James Harden, Chris Paul and ‘manboobs’

Apparently, Skip Bayless has been taking Twitter too seriously lately.

Barry McCockiner (@SportsTalkBarry) tweeted Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul made fun of his teammate, James Harden, for having “man boobs.” McCockiner also tweeted the incident, which allegedly continued over the past two seasons, was part of the reason why the two couldn’t get along in Houston.

In Wednesday’s episode of FS1’s “Undisputed,” Bayless described the “man boobs” incident as “that’s when you’re hitting bottom.”

McCockiner then tweeted a hilarious reaction to Bayless’ cluelessness on Wednesday.

The rumblings about Paul and Harden’s alleged conflict grew increasingly louder after ESPN’s Tim MacMahon wrote a report on June 17. He says tension between the two became palpable during a post-game conference after Game 1 of the first-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz. MacMahon described Harden as somebody who “got all the action” while Paul was “an increasingly frustrated bystander.”

Harden and Paul continued to go at it in Houston’s season-ending Game 6 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the second round. “Harden’s ball dominance and Paul’s desire to run set plays” was allegedly the reason behind the misunderstanding, per MacMahon.

For his part, Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta dismissed the conflict between Harden and Paul as “two very competitive athletes” who want to win a title, per Fox 26 sports director Mark Berman.

With that in mind, we can be sure the conflict between Harden and Paul wasn’t about “man boobs.” Just charge it to experience, Skip.
