Russell Westbrook only cares about Houston, not the other changes around the NBA

Rockets, Russell Westbrook

Houston Rockets superstar point guard Russell Westbrook doesn’t care about all the changes which took place in the NBA this summer.

This offseason alone, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Kemba Walker, Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell changed teams.

Westbrook, though, only cares about one change: him joining the Rockets with James Harden.

This is who Russell Westbrook is. He doesn’t pay attention to what other players and teams around the NBA are doing. The former MVP has tunnel vision. If it doesn’t have anything to do with the Rockets, Westbrook won’t acknowledge it.

Rockets fans are going to love Westbrook. He plays with a passion and grit which is unmatched in the NBA. The All-Star guard has averaged a triple-double three seasons in a row. Paired with his pal Harden in Houston, Westbrook is looking to add a championship to his already impressive résumé.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers figure to be the two teams who will stand in the Rockets’ way of winning the 2020 title. We’ll have to see which duo can come out on top: LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, and Russell Westbrook and James Harden will try and lead their respective teams in the rugged Western Conference.
