RUMOR: Chris Paul (hamstring) to play in Game 7 vs. Warriors, says Texas Congresswoman

The Houston Rockets are still holding out hope that superstar point guard Chris Paul is able to suit up and play in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals for a chance to go to the NBA Finals. According to Marc Spears of ESPN just a few hours before tipoff, Paul is trying his best to play.
Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is not only a politician, but is apparently a newsbreaker as well. She recently tweeted out that she was ecstatic to hear that Paul would suit up and play in tonight’s game.
I am glad to hear that Chris Paul @CP3 will be on the floor tonight for Game 7!!!! Lets Go @HoustonRockets!!! #Rockets #RocketsWarriors #HoustonStrong #Houston #NBAFinals

UPDATE: Here’s a look at the now-deleted tweet:
It’s unclear if there’s any truth to this, as there hasn’t been a single major NBA reporter talking about this.
More to come…
