Rockets star James Harden edges Kobe Bryant in career 3-point list

The Houston Rockets sent the Cleveland Cavaliers another loss, 141-113. Prior to the game, Rockets star James Harden only needed two three-pointers to surpass Kobe Bryant for the 14th spot in the all-time list of players with the most 3-pointers made.
In the first 18 minutes of the game, Harden made six. He finished the night with eight in total.

Kobe Bryant made 1,827 threes in his 20-year NBA career. James Harden, who’s still in his prime, now has 1,834. Which means, he’s also passed Chauncey Billups (1,830) and now holds the 13th spot in the list.

Harden, who’s been on a scoring rampage as of late, is averaging 34 points, six rebounds, 8.6 assists, and two steals in 40 games for the Rockets. They currently hold the seventh spot in the Western Conference standings with a 23-17 record.
The Rockets have won 14 of their last 20 games after starting the season at 10-10.
James Harden currently averages at least three 3-pointers made per game this year and he’s made at least five triples over the last ten games. If he continues this trend, he might be able to surpass Dirk Nowitzki (1,925) and J.R. Smith (1,929) and end up in the 11th spot on the list by the end of the season.
