Rockets star James Harden arrives in Orlando

James Harden, Rockets

James Harden is ready to lead the Houston Rockets to a strong playoff push once the season resumes at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The Beard entered the bubble in style on Tuesday, rocking a nice white sleeved-shirt, camouflage-inspired shorts and a camping hat.

With most of the Western Conference contenders already settling in their respective hotels, James Harden will now begin his mandatory quarantine period before taking part in basketball activities.

Harden, who was named league MVP in 2018, was enjoying yet another spectacular season for the Rockets prior to the unprecedented hiatus brought upon by the coronavirus pandemic.

The 30-year-old superstar averaged a league-best 34.4 points on 43.5 percent shooting from the field and 35.2 percent from downtown. He was also putting up 6.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals as he puts his name in the MVP conversation for the fourth straight year.

Harden must continue his phenomenal play for the Rockets in Orlando to solidify his claim for his second MVP plum. He has some tough competition this year, including reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, perennial contender LeBron James and the surging Luka Doncic.

While barred from participating in team workouts during the lockdown, Harden kept himself busy and stayed in-game shape. In fact, photos of him looking like he lost a few pounds quickly became viral online.

The Rockets (40-24) started hot off the bat, thanks in large part to Harden’s scoring rampage. Unfortunately, they fizzled a bit prior to the suspension of the season and are currently tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the fifth and sixth spots in the Western Conference.
