Rockets news: NBA 2K18 releases Eric Gordon’s player rating
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon received his NBA 2K18 rating, only a few weeks prior to the release of the game.
The sharpshooting spark plug was given an 80 after a torrid campaign that saw him earn Sixth Man of the Year honors.

At only 6-foot-4, Gordon was one of the best options off the bench, providing countless buckets in the paint and from outside, making a great complement to MVP runner-up James Harden with his high-octane scoring punch.
The Indiana standout can have an even better season this year with the addition of Chris Paul into the fold, a point guard who has years of experience finding shooters open all over the floor.
Gordon only shot 37.2 percent from beyond the arc in his fourth-best 246 treys made last season, a far cry from his 44.8 clip during the 2014-15 season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
If the marksman can regain his top-line accuracy, he’ll be sure to once again be up for the running for the Sixth Man award, providing he can stroke them from deep as well as he has in prior seasons.
One thing has proven certain, he won’t have a problem getting his field goal attempts under head coach Mike D’Antoni, who let the deep-threat gunner attempt 661 treys during the 2016-17 campaign.
