Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden is happy he’s not part of the “NBA shuffle” which has been taking place in the league.
Last season, Jimmy Butler and Anthony Davis requested trades. Butler is now on the Miami Heat after splitting time with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers in 2018-19, while Davis is on the Los Angeles Lakes next to LeBron James.
This summer alone, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, D’Angelo Russell and Chris Paul switched teams.
Harden is obviously happy the Rockets were able to land his pal Westbrook and thrilled he has security in Houston:

James Harden signed a four-year, $171 million extension with Houston back in 2017. Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta and general manager Daryl Morey have consistently said they want to win a championship with Harden.
In a league where loyalty is essentially non-existent, it looks like Harden and Houston have a good thing going.
By acquiring Westbrook, the Rockets are title contenders in the rugged Western Conference. Harden has led the NBA in scoring the past two seasons, while Westbrook has averaged a triple-double three seasons in a row. It’s going to be really fun to watch the two MVPs play in Houston. Rockets fans are hoping the superstars can co-exist quickly and lead Houston to its third championship as a franchise.
