Rockets’ James Harden reacts to Arizona State’s win over Kansas

The Arizona State Sun Devils are actually becoming relevant in NCAA Basketball, posting an impressive win over the top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday night.

While Arizona State was decent last season, success is something new to the school as far as basketball is concerned. As a matter of fact, the last time the Sun Devils were a really good team like this was back when James Harden played for them a decade ago.

Harden is still repping the school spirit, taking to Twitter to post his exuberance after the win:

Saturday night was a nice double dip for Harden, as he and the Houston Rockets also defeated the San Antonio Spurs. Harden dropped 39 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and a couple of rebounds in the win. He wasn’t exactly efficient, going 12-of-34 from the floor and 7-of-19 from 3-point range, but the W is all that matters.

With the win, the Rockets moved to 17-15 and have won six of their last seven games after a tough 11-14 start to the year.

Houston actually began the season just 1-5, but then proceeded to win eight of its next 10 contests to jump to 9-7. The Rockets then dropped four straight and seven of their next nine to fall to three games below .500.

Since then, Houston has been playing terrific basketball, beating some solid teams over this recent stretch to boot.

Of course, the Rockets will be without Chris Paul for quite some time, as the floor general is now dealing with a hamstring injury, so that hurts, but at least Houston has a pulse.
