Rockets’ James Harden makes ‘Headband Harden’ season debut

James Harden

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James brought back “Headband Bron” earlier this season, so Houston Rockets star guard James Harden figured he might as well bring the headband back as well.

The Rockets take on the Washington Wizards Monday night in the nation’s capital and James Harden is wearing a headband.

Harden used to wear the headband all the time when he was with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The reigning MVP hasn’t donned it too much with the Rockets. Houston is only 9-9 on the season, so maybe James Harden is trying to try something new and hope it leads to a new stretch.

On the season, Harden is averaging 30.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game. The six-time All-Star is shooting 42.6 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from beyond the arc and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.
