Rockets fan skips graduation for Game 6 vs. Warriors

Rockets

The Houston Rockets are in a do-or-die situation in Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors, so one Rockets fan made sure that he’d be at the Toyota Center to show his support to his team — even if it means missing his graduation.

The Rockets supporter showed up in Houston’s homecourt wearing his graduate cap while holding a sign that reads “MISSING COLLEGE GRADUATION FOR ROCKETS.”

Houston could really use all the support they can get, and this one fan’s act should only serve as an extra motivation for the team.

The Rockets are trailing the Warriors 3-2 after losing in Game 5. However, they have the opportunity to tie the series and extend it to Game 7 for a winner-takes-all finale.

Not to mention that Game 6 is a good chance for Houston to win with Kevin Durant injured and out for the Warriors. Durant averaged 33.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the five matches he played in for the Dubs against the Rockets, so his absence is undoubtedly a massive blow to the reigning champs.

The Rockets won both of their games in Houston so far, and they will likely lean on homecourt advantage to even things up. Sure enough, they will hope to win in front of their home crowd and give that one die-hard fan a perfect graduation gift.
