Rockets’ Chris Paul takes a shot at referees after win over Warriors

Chris Paul

The Houston Rockets won against the Golden State Warriors 135-134 in overtime, but Chris Paul was still peeved about one aspect of the game:

Paul took a shot at the referees, who clearly missed a call late in overtime when Durant was clearly out of bounds while trying to save the ball. This “save” led to a Stephen Curry jumper that nearly won the Warriors the game:

Despite this egregious missed call, the Rockets still won thanks to James Harden, who buried his 10th triple of the game on the other end:

Harden had another monster game with 44 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Clint Capela also had a stellar game for the Rockets, scoring 29 points and nabbing 21 rebounds.

Stephen Curry had 35 points and six assists to lead the Dubs, while Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson each had 26 markers.

Chris Paul has been out of action for the Rockets since Dec. 21, 2018, when he suffered a hamstring injury in Houston’s loss to the Miami Heat. He was initially scheduled to miss two to three weeks, but it seems that he could be sidelined longer than that.

This, however, did not prevent the All-Star guard from airing his sentiments, and although this is not the first time he has made headlines while criticizing NBA officials, his reaction to what happened in this game seems to be on point.

NBA referees have been criticized a lot by fans and players this season, and it seems they’re on the hot seat once more. In this case, the criticism is well-deserved because this was about as blatant a missed call as you’ll see.
