The beef between Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo and Houston Rockets floor general Chris Paul would not remain on the court, as it expanded to the stands as their significant others’ traded barbs while the two duked it out on the court, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic:
“The drama extended beyond the court,” wrote Amick. “A heated Paul told teammates and coaches in the locker room afterward that Rondo’s girlfriend had sparked a verbal confrontation with Chris’ wife in the stands, according to sources.”
