Report: Chris Paul ‘trying his best’ to play in Game 7 vs. Warriors

Chris Paul

With the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors just a few hours from tip-off in Game 7, everyone is waiting for the news on Chris Paul’s injured hamstring.

He is a game-time decision at this point, but according to Marc J. Spears of ESPN, Paul is “trying his best” to be able to play.

Since the Rockets haven’t ruled him in or out, it’s hard to say exactly how healthy he will be, but chances are if he does go, he won’t be close to 100 percent.

Paul injured his hamstring near the end of Game 5, and although he dressed for Game 6, he wasn’t available to come off the bench.

The former Clippers point guard carried the Rockets to the victory in the second half of Game 5, and even if he isn’t fully healthy for this game, anything that Paul could give the Rockets, either starting or off the bench would be a huge boost.
