Reddit user finds direct correlation between James Harden’s bad road play and quality of strip clubs in specific cities

The fine people of Reddit are at it again with their detective skills, this time focusing on Houston Rockets star James Harden and his love for strip clubs.

A Reddit user found a correlation between Harden’s lack of performance on the road and the quality of strips clubs in that city. His hypothesis was that Harden’s box score declines in cities with high quality strip clubs:

The Reddit user concluded that Harden’s game performance declines in cities with higher rated strip clubs. Harden’s best performance comes in the city with the worst strip clubs – Toronto. Harden’s worst performance comes in the city with the best strip clubs – Miami. 

Against the Heat on Nov. 3, the Rockets lost by 29 points down in South Beach. Harden finished with 29 points while shooting 6-of-14 from the field and 3-of-9 from beyond the arc. Not a bad stat line for The Beard, but maybe he didn’t hit up the Strip Club the night before.

After defeating the Golden State Warriors at home on Wednesday, the Rockets improved to 5-3 on the young season. Harden is averaging 36.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.1 assists through Houston’s first eight games, but he’s shooting just 38.7 percent overall and 27.0 percent from the 3-point line.
