Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul and Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo apparently haven’t liked each other for over 10 years now, according to Boston Celtics legend and current ESPN TV analyst Paul Pierce.
Rondo and Paul got into a heated fight Saturday night at Staples Center, with both players landing punches on each other.

During the postgame show on ESPN, Paul Pierce, who won a championship with Rajon Rondo with the Boston Celtics, had this to say about the scuffle and the relationship, or lack thereof, between Rondo and Paul:
“I am not surprised at all,” Pierce said. “Rondo and Chris Paul have never liked each other. This goes back to maybe Rondo’s rookie year or second year. I’m surprised that this is their first fight actually, because they have never got along.”
The NBA is back in full swing (no pun intended) and it’s great. Obviously, you don’t want to see violence on the court, and what happened Saturday got way too out of hand. However, you have to love the intensity that was shown between the two teams.
As for Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo’s fate, both players will be suspended for multiple games. That’s all we know now.
