Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is open to returning to his old team.
Beverley will become a free agent this summer and is expected to draw a lot of attention. The veteran point guard was asked on Twitter if he is coming back to the Rockets, and he said that anything can happen in free agency, which was a hint that he is not closing his doors for the Rockets.

The 30-year-old point guard spent the first five seasons of his career with the Rockets, where he became a fan favorite because of his toughness on both ends of the floor. However, the Rockets traded him to the Clippers in 2017 in the deal that sent Chris Paul to Houston.
Beverley also told KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune that he is open to moving the to the Chicago Bulls if the team is interested in him. The former Arkansas standout said that there’s no question about his interest in playing for the Bulls because he is a Chicago native.
“I’m a Chicago kid. So, of course, I’m open to playing for the Chicago Bulls if that’s a team that’s interested in me,” Beverley said. “At the same time, any decision that is made, it’s never personal. It’s always business.”
Beverley played 78 games for the Clippers last season, where he averaged 7.6 points on top of 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
