Earlier in the season, Brooklyn Nets big man Jarrett Allen swatted a LeBron James poster dunk attempt, which finally put him on the national radar, something that should have happened a long time ago.
Now, he has added Houston Rockets star James Harden to his list of victims:

More people really need to start talking about Jarrett Allen, who was good long before this recent stretch of poster blocks.
Allen went into Wednesday night’s matchup against the Houston Rockets averaging 11.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over 26.6 minutes per game while shooting 58.3 percent from the floor and 74.4 percent from the free-throw line.
The 20-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Texas at Austin, was originally selected by the Nets in the first round (22nd pick overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft.
It was the one first-round draft pick the Nets had over the last three drafts, and they definitely made the most of it.
During his rookie campaign, Allen played in 72 games and made 31 starts, registering 8.2 points, 5.4 boards and 1.2 blocks across 20 minutes a night while making 58.9 percent of his field-goal attempts and 77.6 percent of his foul shots.
Brooklyn has actually been a respectable team this season after several years of toiling in the NBA’s basement.
The Nets had a record of 22-23 entering their game against the Rockets and have gone 14-5 since an 8-18 start.
In an Eastern Conference that is incredibly weak at the bottom, Brooklyn actually has a great shot of making the playoffs, which is something the Nets might actually not want to do.
