Magic’s Evan Fournier inadvertently drops an expletive on live TV while describing James Harden’s 54 points

Magic-Evan-Fournier-Rockets-James-Harden

Houston Rockets superstar James Harden had another absolutely outstanding outing on Friday as he torched the Orlando Magic for 54 points (19-of-31 from the field, 6-of-6 from the line), along with 10 3-pointers, five rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and three blocks in 36 minutes of action. The Rockets cruised to another victory, defeating the Magic in a lopsided contest, 130-107. Following the game, Orlando wing Evan Fournier appeared to have run out of things to say to describe Harden’s remarkable performance, resulting in a brief NSFW moment for the 27-year-old.

That’s not something you hear on a live NBA broadcast so often, but to some extent, we can understand Fournier’s rather candid reaction. Harden had been in tremendous form of late, and his performance against the Magic was no different.

That’s now back-to-back wins for the Rockets, who are currently in possession of an impressive 17-8 record in a ruthless Western Conference. There is no doubt that this is in large part due to Harden and his MVP-level of play.

For his part, Fournier had himself a ballgame as well against Houston. The 6-foot-7 guard/forward accounted for a team-high 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting, along with six 3-pointers, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 25 minutes of action.

Fournier has been having the best season of his career this term, averaging a career-high 20.2 points (on 48.4 percent shooting), 2.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals, while also connecting on 2.9 3-pointers per game. The Frenchman currently has two years remaining on his current deal, with next season being a player option. If he keeps up this pace, he could prove to be one of the most sought-after free agents in the summer.
