Lakers PG Lonzo Ball taken to hospital after suffering ankle injury vs. Rockets
Los Angeles Lakers second-year point guard Lonzo Ball suffered an ankle injury during the second half of a road game against the Houston Rockets Saturday night. He exited the game and has already been ruled out of the contest, according to Dave McMenamin, who also reported that the former UCLA Bruins star has been taken to a hospital.
Lonzo Ball has a sprained left ankle and will not return. He was taken to an area hospital for X-rays because the machine at the Toyota Center was not working, according to the Lakers.
