James Harden’s disheveled quarantine appearance draws viral reactions
The seemingly never-ending quarantine period hasn’t been kind to Houston Rockets superstar James Harden. Social media, of course, had something to say after a rather unflattering photo of the one-time NBA MVP began circulating online.
The 30-year-old Rockets shooting guard appeared to shake off months of inactivity by going on a trail run with his crew. However, his disheveled appearance became the butt of the jokes from Twitter users.
Judging by the photo, Harden looked like he lost some weight as his hair was unkempt and all over the place. His glorious beard also had several patches of grey hair.

Some couldn’t help but wonder how a multi-millionaire like Harden doesn’t have access to a barber, while other users took it as an opportunity to throw shade at his game. Here are some of the funniest “observations” from Twitter.

James Harden’s appearance, of course, is the least of his worries at the moment after news broke out that the NBA is planning to continue the 2019-20 campaign by the end of July — probably at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
It’s nice to see that the Rockets superstar is putting on some work, so it’s quite understandable if he won’t be looking at his best in the meantime.
Prior to the suspension of the season due to the pandemic, Harden was enjoying yet another MVP-worthy season with the Rockets, averaging a league-best 34.4 points per game on 43.5 percent shooting from the field and 35.2 percent from downtown. He also notched averages of 6.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals in 61 games.
The Rockets (40-24) are currently tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the fifth seed in the Western Conference Standings.
