Houston Rockets All-Star James Harden has been on an offensive tear for the majority of this season, especially from beyond the arc. In fact, Harden has already knocked down 250 threes this season, which ties Stephen Curry’s record for the fastest to reach that mark in a single campaign.

Harden buried eight threes in Wednesday night’s 127-101 victory over the Sacramento Kings. In his 32 minutes of action, the Beard racked up 36 points on 13-of-26 shooting from the field (8-of-13 from downtown), six rebounds, one assist, two steaks and one block.

Harden, who now has 28 consecutive games with 30 or more points, scored 25 of his points in the first half alone.

“We played very, very well,” Harden told ESPN after Wednesday’s game. “We’re kind of catching a momentum and it feels pretty good. It’s even more exciting once we get our full roster back.”

In 50 appearances with the Rockets this season (all starts), Harden has posted averages of 36.5 points (league-high) on 44.2 percent shooting from the field (37.0 percent from beyond the arc), 8.0 assists, 6.8 rebounds, 2.2 steals and just under one block (0.8) in 37.5 minutes per outing.

Harden and the Rockets (32-22 and 1st in the Southwest Division standings) will look to keep their momentum rolling on Saturday, when they’ll serve as hosts to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip-off inside the Toyota Center is set for 8:30 p.m.
