James Harden is back like The Terminator

Houston Rockets, James harden

If you still had any doubts about James Harden not being available for the Houston Rockets because he allegedly tested positive for COVID-19, the you have to see the clip below of the former league MVP back to his usual self in a scrimmage game with his teammates.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey himself posted a brief clip of his superstar guard dishing out an awesome dime to one of his Rockets teammates during a practice session in the Disney World bubble:

Speaking to Joe Vardon of The Atlhletic, Harden himself shared how glad he is to be back with the rest of his team:

“I’m happy I’m here,” he said. “It actually felt really good to be out here with the guys and getting after it.”

Even Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni had nothing but good things to say about Harden, noting how the eight-time All-Star appears to be in tip-top shape despite the lengthy layoff.

“Today he went through practice as much as anybody else and his wind was as good as anybody else, so obviously he’s been working, anyway,” D’Antoni said. “They ramped him up well before he got here.”

Harden will need to work extra hard once the season officially kicks off again, with his backcourt buddy, Russell Westbrook, currently out of action after contracting the coronaviurs. According to reports, however, Westbrook is in good spirits, and it does look like the former Most Valuable Player winner will rejoin the Rockets sooner rather than later. That is of course once he is able to be cleared by the doctors, and after going through a series of thorough protocols upon his arrival in Florida.
