James Harden can’t take the Utah cold

James Harden

James Harden and the Houston Rockets take on the Utah Jazz on Thursday, and the reigning MVP can’t believe how cold it is in Utah.

The climate in The Salt Lake City is not a kind one. With winter season here, the average temperature in Utah is usually around 20 degrees fahrenheit during December and James Harden is not a fan of it at all.

James Harden grew up in California. The superstar guard played his college basketball at Arizona State. He’s not really used to the cold weather and that is showing through this tweet.

Harden is hoping the Rockets’ offense can catch fire in Utah. Houston is coming off a bad loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, a game in which they were up by 19 points at one point. The Rockets are 11-12 on the season, 12th in the Western Conference. After scoring the second-most points per game last season, Houston is only averaging 109.2 points per contest this year, 18th in the NBA.

James Harden is putting up good statistical numbers despite the team’s struggles. The six-time All-Star is averaging 30.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 37.4 percent from beyond the arc and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.
