Houston Rockets agree on deal to bring Bobby Brown back

Bobby Brown

The Houston Rockets have agreed on a deal to bring back point guard Bobby Brown, according to international reporter David Pick.

Brown will likely have to fight for a roster spot at the start of training camp, battling against the likes of Isaiah Taylor and George De Paula to back up new acquisition Chris Paul.

The shake of this new Rockets roster could prove as an opportunity for the 32-year-old, who averaged only 2.5 points in five minutes per game last season, but has done well for himself internationally after his seven-year absence from the NBA.

While Brown hasn’t been the most efficient player in his three years at the NBA level (shot under 40 percent from the field in each season), he could prove to be the most-fitting option to play behind CP3 as he is competing with an international rookie and another player who only has four games of NBA experience.
