Gerald Green’s cornrows have Rockets logo embedded in them

Gerald Green

Gerald Green is apparently happy to be a member of the Houston Rockets.

The athletic swingman was signed by Houston a few days ago as the Rockets are looking to weather the injury storm while possibly also finding a diamond in the free agency rough in Green.

Already, Green is showing off how much he appreciates the opportunity sporting an epic new haircut with a design of the Rockets logo embedded in his braids.

This is next level commitment by Green for a team that he still needs to impress to stay around on long-term. The deal Green signed was non-guaranteed so there’s no telling if he’ll be there for the remainder of the season if things don’t work out.

Green debuted in the Rockets’ loss against the Boston Celtics, playing just 11 minutes and not scoring. The next night however against the Washington Wizards, Green played 27 minutes and scored 18 points while hitting 4-of-6 3-pointers — an outing that has to get Rockets fans excited about.

The Rockets still lost both of those games as their losing streak continues. Green’s presence coupled with the return of Chris Paul, as well as Clint Capela’s return today, may help right the ship for one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
