Westbrook was one of the few NBA stars who didn’t have tattoos on his body until a month ago. Back in 2018, Russ said he was going to get his first tattoo after he won his first championship. However, family is the most important thing to Westbrook, so he was willing to break his promise for his kids.

Westbrook has three kids, one son and two twin girls. Noah Russell Westbrook was born on May 16, 2017, while Jordyn and Skye Westbrook were born on November 17, 2018.

Rockets fans are hoping that Westbrook and James Harden can lead the franchise to the 2020 title once the “bubble” games begin on July 30 at Walt Disney World. Houston is the only team in the NBA with two MVPs leading the charge.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March due to COVID-19, Westbrook was averaging 27.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists in his first season with the Rockets. The triple-double machine was also shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 25.4 percent from beyond the arc and 77.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Westbrook and the Rockets will face the Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers in their eight seeding games before the 2020 playoffs begin. Houston is in sixth place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 40-24.

Rockets supporters would love to see Westbrook get his second tattoo in the near future because it would mean the team won the 2020 title. Houston hasn’t reached an NBA Finals during the Harden era, which began in 2012-13. With the Beard and Brodie leading the way and being fresh after such a long hiatus, this could be the Rockets’ best chance to win a championship since acquiring Harden from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Russell Westbrook, who will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day, has career NBA averages of 23.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.3 assists with the Thunder and Rockets. Here’s to hoping the California native wins his first title in 2020 so that we can see Russ get even more ink.
