Draymond Green’s mom has no hard feelings for Kevin Durant after Game 2 vs. Rockets

Draymond Green’s mom had made some poignant comments on Twitter during Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets, signaling Kevin Durant’s isolation as a reason for the team’s stagnant offense.
But she warned there aren’t any hard feelings between her and Durant, as a rather self-professed fan of the 2014 MVP.
I been tweeting and talking about games. You are foolish if you think I’m against KD! We win as a Team an I stand by that! I am a FAN LIKE EVERYONE ELSE but if you are going to say what I said, ASK ME SO I CAN EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT I MEANT!

For the record! I am a @KDTrey5 FANATIC & have enjoyed him since his Texas days! Loved him even more when he became a WARRIOR!
All this he already know though because I have told him this plenty of times! So, please stop trying to make a story where there isn’t one!#IMDONE✌🏽— MBG (@BabersGreen) May 18, 2018
Durant was efficient during his outing, hitting 13-of-22 from the floor, including 3-of-6 from deep, and 9-of-9 from the stripe, but he failed to record a single assist in the game — hence why the Warriors were stagnant on offense against a more fluid Rockets team at both ends of the floor.
Durant returned the courtesy, saying there’s no hard feelings from his part either, noting she’s had nothing but the best of intentions for him and the team.

“Draymond’s mom’s like a team mom,” Kevin Durant said Friday. “You know how that dynamic is. She just wants nothing but the best for me, from us. I love her like she’s my mom, so it’s all good. I understand where that stuff comes from, but I’m gonna keep being me at the end of the day. I got nothing but love for her.”
