Draymond Green won’t solely hone into Rockets’ Big 3

Draymond Green, Chris Paul, Clint Capela, James Harden

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green won’t buy into the concept of zoning into the Houston Rockets’ ‘Big Three’ of James Harden, Chris Paul, and Clint Capela, but rather look to defend every piece of their offensive puzzle coming into tonight’s series.

The Warriors’ defensive engine was asked about his scouting of the Big Three, only to shoot it down as a term made up by the media.

“All I know is that they’re ready to beat us, so I don’t study three particular players, I study all of them,” Green quipped. “I have to look to what everybody likes to do, their tendencies.”

“I know they got five or six guys, if not more, that can score 10 or more points, so if you study three players, you’re wrong.”

While many analyst are pointing at Clint Capela as the X-factor for the Rockets, others are digging further, saying other role players like P.J. Tucker, Gerald Green, or Trevor Ariza can play an important part in deciding the series.

Green, who is known for his versatility defending several positions, will have to keep eyes and ears alert for any players getting open and containing a team with home court advantage.

The Rockets have assembled their team in hopes to eliminate any weak links, instead choosing to sign as many two-way players as possible, getting the most of them at both ends of the floor.
