The Western Conference Semifinal matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets was extremely competitive through the first two games of the series, and Game 3 was no different.
With the series shifting to their home floor, the Rockets secured their first victory of the series behind 41 points from James Harden and 30 points from Eric Gordon in an overtime classic. The Warriors got 46 points from Kevin Durant and a triple-double performance from Draymond Green (19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists), but could not survive the continued shooting woes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who combined to go 13-of-39 from the field (4-of-15 from the 3-point line).
After getting absolutely dominated on the offensive glass in Game 2, the Rockets completely flipped the script on Saturday night. Houston pulled down 17 offensive boards, winning the rebound battle 55-35 in perhaps the most defining area of the game.
Yet despite their dominance on the glass and shooting over 40 percent from beyond the arc, the Rockets still only won by five points in a game that needed an extra session, giving guys like Draymond Green cause to feel just fine about the state of the series:

It is probably safe to say the Warriors may not even be in control of the series without the superb play of Green. The outspoken vocal leader of the Warriors is averaging 16.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists through the first three games of the series and has the highest net rating (+18) of any of the Warriors starters, including Durant.
The Warriors are already tough to beat, but they become that much harder when Green becomes a triple-double threat on a nightly basis.
