It seems like Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell enjoyed the festivities of Saturday night NBA basketball.
The super sophomore posted on Twitter the perfect GIF reaction to the Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo melee during the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers match-up. The classic GIF featured the late great Prince of Pop Michael Jackson enjoying a movie while eating popcorn.

Paul and Rondo got into a heated exchange late in the fourth quarter of the early season showdown between the two Western Conference squads. This eventually led into a physical altercation that saw both point guards throw punches at each other.
Both of them were thrown out of the contest following their actions Saturday night. Fines and suspensions are likely coming their way as the NBA investigates further into the events that transpired.
As for Mitchell’s enjoyment, the beef between Paul and Rondo doesn’t seem to be over. However, the Jazz’s up-and-comer has far more important things to do rather than keep up with the Paul-Rondo saga.
Mitchell and the Jazz are coming from a heartbreaking 124-123 loss against the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Former Jazz forward Jonas Jerebko had his revenge moment as he tipped in the game winner for his new squad.
Nonetheless, the Jazz proved in that game that they are a team to be reckoned with as they came within just a fraction of a second from upsetting the champs.
Needless to say, the 2017-18 Rookie of the Year runner-up is taking right where he left off from last season as he looks to take the next step into NBA superstardom.
Fortunately for Mitchell, the Jazz don’t have a scheduled game on December 13. The Lakers and Rockets face off once again on that day.
