Clippers video: Patrick Beverley’s mom wins on Price Is Right

Patrick Beverley, Clippers

Patrick Beverley didn’t have the start he was hoping for with the Los Angeles Clippers. He only appeared in 11 games before having microfracture surgery in November and missing the rest of the season.

Just because he had a bad season, doesn’t mean someone else from his family can’t have success in Southern California.

Patrick Beverley’s mom appeared on the Price Is Right on Wednesday and she had herself quite the day. She won herself a car to start the day while playing the dice game “Let Em Roll.”

She then went onto the Big Wheel to spin and landed right on the dollar, winning herself another $1,000 dollars. She also created maybe one of the great reactions in the history of the Price Is Right when the guy she beat fell face first onto the floor in disbelief.

Her success didn’t just end there. She also won the showcase, winning another car and making her total prizes for the day over $41,000.

Patrick Beverley, who didn’t have much to cheer about this summer, took to Twitter to congratulate his mother on the big win, saying he was hyped like it was a playoff game.

Good thing for Beverley he did get to feel like he was in the playoffs with his mom winning on the Price is Right because he didn’t get to feel that with the Clippers as they just suffered too many injuries to ever really have a shot. He, however, does get to watch his old team, the Houston Rockets try to make it deep in this year’s playoffs.
